Good morning,The City of Meadville is planning a technology upgrade after receiving new state funding. Officials say about 142-thousand-dollars will go toward improving software systems, including streamlining utility billing and allowing residents to pay sewer bills online, while also improving coordination between city departments.Drones are being used to locate abandoned oil and gas wells in northwest Pennsylvania. Crews recently surveyed parts of Venango County using advanced mapping technology to identify hidden wells, some buried dozens of feet underground. Officials say the effort is aimed at preventing environmental hazards and improving safety.And in Erie County, a controversial housing project has been shut down.
