Good morning,An Erie County courtroom saw emotional moments as a teenager learned his fate in a deadly shooting. Eighteen-year-old Jamarion Boone has been sentenced to 53 years to life in prison for the murder of 17-year-old Armoni Cantu, along with additional time for shooting another student.Investigators say Boone chased a group of Erie High students after a confrontation in December of 2024, opening fire near 31st and Liberty Streets. One teen was killed and another seriously injured. Boone pleaded guilty earlier this year.And the Erie County Courthouse is glowing red this week to honor fallen firefighters as part of the national “Light the Night” memorial. Residents are encouraged to show support by lighting their homes red.Plus, in Jefferson County, a planned lane closure on Interstate 80 tied to the North Fork Bridges project has been postponed due to weather.
